👋 Meet Samuel, from Sierra Leone!

Samuel Conteh is a smart boy whose parents live on subsistent farming in the village. Samuel is staying with his aunt in the city of Makeni. Although Samuel is not due to attend school yet, he goes to a nearby school as a visitor which allows his aunt to embark on her petty trading activities. The school environment and the activities are motivating factors that have endeared him to see the school as an ideal environment for his development. The farming activities of Samuels parent does not satisfy the present basic needs of the extended family and it was this reality of life that made his aunt to have him with her in the city of Makeni.
