Rupali is a kind and shy child. She has two brothers and one sister. Despite their situation, Rupali is hopeful for her future. Life is difficult for Rupali and her family because of the minimal income of her father; who is the sole provider of the family. Her father is a labourer and her mother stays at home to look after her younger siblings. After school and during weekends, Rupali helps her mother with household chores like washing clothes and cleaning the dishes. Rupali dreams of becoming a religious nun someday.
