Gyan lives with his two brothers and his parents in a remote area in Phulbani, Kandhamal. His father works as a Labourer and his mother is a housewife. Life is hard for Gyan and his family with his only father as the sole provider for a family of five. Gyan Mantry dreams of becoming an army officer someday. Gyan is motivated to finish his studies so he can help uplift the poor living condition of his family.
