Carl Jayson is the youngest child in a family of three children. His father is a taxi driver while his mother is a housewife. As a young child, Jayson has not performed well in school but he was encouraged to study harder when he saw his parents sadness in having his low grades in school. He shared that he was able to change when his mother sacrificed her sleep just to help him finish his home work which he neglected to do. From that time on, he performed well in school and enjoyed getting good grades. Now that he is in the Sisters of Mary, he would like to become a seaman or an engineer someday.
